If i had one dream

to fall in the deepest slumber
to be swept away and no longer
be trapped in in these cages that we've built
with overflowing feelings of guilt
shame and misfortune
of our souls once tuned
through the rhythms of every heart beat

once more stroll down the streams
have visions of our passion that burns
brightening up the darkest nights
and warming up the coldest hearts
a flash of light and a spot of gold
our love could have never been sold

If i had one night
i would lay down and dream
Dream and erase all the films
tapes and DVDs filled with such words
like mind your business and go to hell
to be jealous is just a spell
a pain of a curse that scars deep
and tear through hearts that bleed
that ache and shiver and weep
tears of a wish to forever sleep
