BY THE IDEAS

By the ideas of one man
i was built so now i stand
i live so that one day men
like you and me can understand
can see so they can believe
that is not just as to relieve
our burdens on others but go to the length
of putting together all of our strength
to build, and to rebuild
through heavy shadows of the past
and make a world that shall last
and be idle to our children and grand children's children

by the idea of one man
just like any other man
I live to be strong
strong enough to let burn
the passion in my heart that can't stop to yearn
for a world where i can stand
and scream from atop a mountain
we are strong and strong we stand
